TAMAHINE
MONDAY 6 PM - SAN ELIJO/SAN MARCOS
All girls 3-12 years are welcome. Classes include Tahitian basic steps, drills and choreography. Costume construction will also be taught.
All dancers will have the ability to perform in the annual Ho’ike. Instructors will evaluate advanced dancers for inclusion in occasional shows and events.
VAHINE
MONDAY 7 PM - SAN ELIJO/SAN MARCOS
For women ages 13 years and up. Open to all dance levels. Classes will include Tahitian basic steps, drills and choreography for ‘aparima and ‘ote’a. Costume instruction will also be taught.
All dancers will have the ability to perform in the annual Ho’ike. Advanced level performers will have the ability to perform in occasional shows and events.
